Officer, Software Quality Engineer

Position Summary Role and Responsibilities Job Description / Scope of work:

• Conduct testing for Samsung Wallet and digital wallet applications, ensuring overall functionality and performance meet requirements.
• Execute functional testing based on defined test cases for mobile wallet applications on both smartphones and Watch
• Perform backward compatibility testing to ensure new wallet application versions function correctly with OS version and devices
• Conduct end-to-end testing of wallet features, including user flows such as card enrolment, payment transactions and authentication.
• Perform transit card testing (e.g. Rabbit Card, MRT/Subway, Bus system), including real-life usage scenarios such as tap-and-go and balance validation.
• Checking application flow as compare with design guide
• Checking the different supported wallet features (boarding pass, digital ID, etc)
• Record the fault or issues encountered during testing
• Log capturing and perform basic debugging analysis to differentiate between phone and application/wallet issues
• Work closely with Headquarter and R&D to solve problems encountered during the testing. Providing R&D support and maintenance for pre and post product launch, including reproduction and diagnosis of problem
• Compiling of Test result and submission for approval
• Update test procedure/ Test cases to local specific payment feature
• Performs other duties as assigned by management /direct supervisor

Skills and Qualifications Qualifications / Key Skills Required:

• Fresh Graduate/Bachelor's degree in related technical field (Telecommunication/Computer/ Electronics Engineering) or fresh graduates are welcome.

• Basic understanding of mobile applications and Android usage.

• Strong attention in details and willingness to learn.

• Good communication skills(Verbal and written)

• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work under pressure.

• Basic knowledge of software testing or QA is a plus.

• Interest in digital wallet, mobile applications, or fintech is an advantage
