Role and Responsibilities:

Overview

Samsung is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Partnership Marketing to lead our Partnership Marketing team. This role will support three core elements of partnership marketing, working across internal teams and external partners to develop partnership program ideas and proposals, tell compelling stories across services, device and partner experiences and execute the marketing programs across our and partner channels.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Facing Support:

  • Collaborate with Samsung's services (gaming, media, art) for both Visual Display and Mobile.

  • Craft and convey the stories of these services through strategic partnerships.

  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment and effective storytelling.

Partner-Facing Support:

  • Lead the planning, program architecture, execution, approvals, and monitoring of partnership marketing programs.

  • Ensure visibility, alignment, and approval from partners, providing an excellent service experience.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for partners, maintaining strong relationships and open communication.

  • Lead partner onboarding, education, and expectation management.

  • Drive new business initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Strategy, Creativity, and Communications:

  • Work with Samsung's SPG (Strategic Partnerships Group) teams and Product Marketing to create innovative partnership proposals and campaign ideas.

  • Develop materials and proposals to engage partners, collaboratively tell our stories and drive key Marketing and business KPIs.

  • Lead strategic development of partnership marketing initiatives.

  • Analyze cloud gaming funnel and develop conversion improvement strategies through partnership programs.

  • Refine processes, create process guides, and establish metrics and OKRs for evaluating partner success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in partnership marketing, sponsorship, or business development, preferably in the consumer electronics, gaming or home entertainment industries.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful partnership marketing campaigns.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; proven ability to lead initiatives across teams.

  • Ability to think creatively – both in developing partnership program ideas and in problem-solving with partners in internal stakeholders.

  • High level of confidence, integrity, and enthusiasm that fits a fast-paced, energetic, and proactive organization.

  • Ability to work independently and actively in a team environment to achieve business objectives, personal and team goals, and complete

  • assignments within established time frames and specifications.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with data analysis and subscription funnel management is a plus.

  • Passion for gaming and understanding of cloud gaming are plus points.

Location and Duration

  • Location: New York-based.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 10% travel may be required for partner meetings and events.

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $170,000 and $220,000. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
