Position Summary

The Site Master Planner responsible for long-range site planning, layout governance, and integration of infrastructure, buildings, and utilities for new facilities and retrofit development. Manage the review and coordination of site-impacting engineering and architectural design projects that may be technically complex, highly visible, or priority initiatives, to verify alignment with approved Site Master Plans and long-term site strategy.
Projects will require a high level of technical proficiency in site planning principles, infrastructure coordination, constructability, and phased development, as well as the ability to balance near-term project needs with long-term operational and expansion requirements across multiple active sites.

Role and Responsibilities:

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Own, maintain, and continuously update the Site Master Plans for the Austin and Taylor sites as living documents.

  • Ensure site layouts, building placement, and infrastructure strategies align with approved master plan intent and long-term expansion goals.

  • Support design review of site-impacting scopes including civil, architectural, utilities, access, and logistics.

  • Maintain and report planning and project information with internal and external stakeholders such as Engineering, Facilities, Operations, EHS, Construction, and external design partners.

  • Organize and lead site planning reviews, coordination meetings, and present updates to management teams as the single point of contact for site master planning.

  • Facilitate development and maintenance of site planning standards, design criteria, and reference documentation.

  • Coordinate continuous improvement of site development strategies through lessons learned, field observations, and evolving business needs.

  • Review and report scope change requests related to site layout, infrastructure capacity, phasing, cost, and schedule.

  • Review, approve, monitor, and communicate all ongoing site-impacting design work.

  • Proactively perform risk identification and mitigation across all aspects of site planning to reduce rework, conflicts, and long-term constraints.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Planning, or a related technical discipline, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in site planning, civil engineering, architecture, facilities planning, or large-scale industrial or campus development.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing complex site interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of site development sequencing, infrastructure planning, and constructability considerations.
  • Experience supporting multiple concurrent projects on active industrial or manufacturing sites.
  • Familiarity with BIM-enabled site planning and digital delivery workflows.
  • Experience working in semiconductor manufacturing, advanced manufacturing, or mission-critical facilities.
  • Experience with both greenfield and brownfield site development.
  • Strong knowledge of site planning principles, infrastructure coordination, and long-range development strategies.
  • Ability to interpret civil, architectural, and utility design documents.
  • Experience working with BIM and digital site models.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Effective communicator capable of translating technical constraints into clear recommendations.
  • Able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and lead through influence.
