Position Summary

In your role as an experienced CNC Machinists to staff on-site machine shop. In your role, you'll support engineering groups by manufacturing hardware that improves factory robotics, electromechanical systems, and specialized tooling. The machinist will be responsible for taking parts from model and drawing to completion. The role requires you to be able to display expertise in GD&T, programing, set up, CNC operation, and metrology.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Understand a part's requirements based on AMSE Y14.5 based drawings.
• Plan work-holding methodology.
• Program tool-paths utilizing HSM.
• Set up and operate various CNC machines.
• Use metrology tools required to validate parts are manufactured within tolerance.
• Document work via project database and periodic reports.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need:

• 3+ years experience or related degree.
• In depth understanding of GD&T is required.
• Work holding setup best practices.
• Experience with machining aluminum, stainless steel, and plastics.
• NGC Controller experience beneficial.
• Aerospace, oil & gas, automotive, or tool/mold experience a plus.
• Ability to communicate trade ideas to coworkers.
• Autodesk HSM/Inventor CAM experience a plus.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40lbs

The current base salary range for this role is between $18.60 - $45.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
