About the role

Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Marketing Executive to progress initiatives with our trade partners (CEIT/Open Market) for our Mobile Experience business. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective planning and execution of marketing deliverables required for the marketing go-to-market for our product launches. Beyond that, this role will drive deeper, strategic marketing relationships with partners, identifying and executing win-win programmes to maximise marketing value for both sides.
This role requires someone with both creative and media IMC background and strategic thinking. We’re looking for a candidate who is a relationship builder, energetic, a proactive team player that is able to work well across cross-functional teams and agencies to shape campaign outcomes. They need to have a can-do approach to the everyday, as well as thrive on delivering creative solutions to business problems.
The candidate must be comfortable working to an agile model and helping the team to implement new processes, framework + best practices so as to bring campaigns to another level across the Samsung MX ecosystem.

Role and Responsibilities

1. Trade Marketing (CEIT/Open channel)

  • Ensure partner communications are aligned with Samsung brand guidelines and marketing/campaign strategy
  • Manage end-to-end marketing deliverables for channel partners, ensuring materials are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade partners, understanding their marketing objectives and aligning Samsung initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with our Sales team to ensure marketing objectives and ROI align with partner sales goals.
  • Plan and execute co-marketing activities, including promotions, product launches, and joint campaigns.
  • Monitor partner performance against agreed KPIs, providing regular updates and optimization recommendations.

2.

Strategic Marketing Initiatives:

  • Identify and develop win-win marketing programmes with trade partners, leveraging joint resources and budgets.
  • Explore new strategic opportunities with partners to enhance brand presence and consumer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align channel partner marketing initiatives with broader marketing strategy.

3. Ecosystem IMC Lead + Support for MX Smartphone

  • Lead the IMC remit for Samsung’s MX Ecosystem portfolio (Galaxy Watches, Tablets and Buds)
  • Support the larger IMC team on 360 initiatives, from planning through to execution and optimization for Samsung’s key launches

Skills and Qualifications

  • Develops professional expertise by complying with company policies and procedures

  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analyzing situations or data requires a review on various factors

  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action

  • Normally receives general instructions on routine work with detailed instructions on new projects or assignments

  • Generally requires a bachelor's degree with a minimum 2 years related experience, or advanced degree without experience
