Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated Graduate to join our Telecom Business Control team in our Nordic HQ office in Kista. This position will give you a broad overview of the Business Control function in a subsidiary of a major corporation, and you will get an opportunity to work with diverse controlling, reporting and overall financial related tasks as well as travelling to all of Samsung Nordic offices in order to get the full picture of Samsung´s Nordic operations.

What will this role achieve?

Your main tasks include controlling investments within our business on a Nordic scale, and overseeing that those investments are in line with the company set profitability targets. You will liaise with all relevant stakeholders, including the local sales teams in each country, to make sure they are all up to date with our processes, investment statuses, and profitability target achievements.

What will be the job scope?

With the team’s support, you will work as the Nordic HQ contact point for all Business Control related matters, such as e.g. bid pricing and budgeting. The Team's goal is to improve the forecast accuracy of our investments, and you will be in a key position here.

You will also support the rest of the team for monthly closing activities, CFO check list reviews, promotion reconciliations, and creating sales analyses along with KPI reporting for sales teams.

Additionally, you will also have a chance to participate in tools development such as return on investment and profitability analyses.

Based on your interest and aptitude, we may increase your responsibilities further over time, beyond the role of a Graduate, and closer to that of a Business Controller.

Skills and Qualifications What do we need for this role?

In the role, it is important that you have a proactive "can-do" attitude, eager to take ownership and grow within a fast-paced global brand.

In order to succeed in this role…

• You hold a business degree and your field of study is preferably finance or accounting.

• You should have good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

• You should also be able to handle large amounts of data, and possess a genuine interest in big data analysis.

• A fluent English language skill is also a prerequisite.

• Previous work experience of management reporting or accounting, and knowledge of some ERP system are considered as an advantage.
