About the role
Position Summary Role and Responsibilities

Lead and drive overall product category strategy, including long-term business planning, portfolio management, and market expansion initiatives.

Own full P&L responsibility for assigned categories, ensuring sustainable revenue growth, profitability, and effective budget utilization with strong operational governance.

Develop and execute end-to-end Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, including product positioning, pricing, channel planning, and launch excellence.
-
Define and lead pricing and commercial strategy, including financial simulations to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and partner margin optimization.
-
Provide strategic direction based on in-depth market intelligence, consumer insights, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

Drive business performance by monitoring key KPIs (sell-in, sell-out, market share, profitability), and lead corrective action plans to achieve targets.

Lead demand forecasting and biz planning in collaboration with Biz and Channel to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize aging inventory risks.

Collaborate and influence cross-functional teams (Biz, Retail, Channel, and Marketing) to ensure alignment and effective execution of business strategies.

Lead and guide channel and trade marketing initiatives, ensuring strong in-store execution, brand visibility, and impactful promotion strategies.

Define competitive positioning and drive counter-strategies against key competitors to strengthen market leadership.

Act as the product expert, supporting technical innovation, and all product-related inquiries.

Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and segment expansion to accelerate biz growth and market share.

Prepare and deliver business reviews, strategic plans, and performance updates to senior management and HQ stakeholders

Perform other duties as assigned by management
Skills and Qualifications
-
Possess a Degree or higher preferably in Business, Economics or Marketing.
-
At Least 8-10 years proven Product / Brand / Trade Marketing experience is required with the ability to productively interact with partner on distribution, retail and resellers

Ability to create and implement business strategies that grow biz & margins and manage key business metrics
-
Innovative and creative-ability to identify and evaluate creative ideas, focusing on those that will create competitive advantage
-
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment
-
Strong business acumen, awareness of market and retail trends.
-
Must possess the ability to plan, organize and implement marketing projects and programs;
-
Requires the ability to disseminate market information and provide the best strategic business plan for product category;
-
Requires the ability to lead, motivate and monitor the activities of biz and marketing to implement strategic plans and achieve all biz objectives
-
Must possess the ability to develop tasks, projects and work assignments to respond to business objectives; and give direction to biz & Marketing teams to support the task/project;

General knowledge on technology/software/innovation especially mobile phone or telecommunication industry; Also, passionate in technology and innovation

Requires the ability to assist in long and mid-term business planning

Must possess the ability to work in a fast pace environment with a sense of urgency

Proficient computer skills required

Consumer oriented mind with basic marketing skills and project management skills
