About the role

Position Summary

As the Product Marketing Category Head for our Flagship Category, you will lead the development and execution of product strategies, Go-to-market (GTM) initiatives, and supply chain optimization to drive revenue growth and market share in the Flagship segment. This role demands a visionary leader with a deep understanding of the premium segment, exceptional product and sales channel expertise, and a proven ability to scale businesses in competitive markets. You will manage high-impact initiatives, foster innovation, and develop team members to ensure Samsung remains a market leader.

Role and Responsibilities Roles and responsibilities include, but is not limited to: Product Strategy Formulation and Execution:

  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to create product line-up strategies that maximize sales, market share, and profitability.
  • Derive differentiated value propositions and innovative concepts to enhance product competitiveness.
  • Monitor competitor activities to maintain Samsung's leadership in the flagship segment.

Go-to-Market Strategy Set Up and Execution:

  • Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to drive growth.
  • Develop and execute differentiated marketing strategies for new product launches.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless GTM strategy execution.

Supply Chain and Forecast Management:

  • Forecast Sell-in and Sell-out to achieve targets and bridge gaps with realistic run-rates.
  • Collaborate with SCM teams to ensure efficient operations aligned with segment KPIs.

Cross-Functional & HQ/Regional Collaboration:

  • Work with marketing communications, retail, sales, and channel development teams for aligned product launches and campaigns.
  • Gather feedback from sales, retail, and channel teams to align GTM strategies with market needs.
  • Actively collaborate with HQ and regional offices for balanced planning and execution.

Skills and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must have/be able to:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive product marketing experience in technology or consumer goods.
  • Proven track record of leading product and GTM strategies in competitive markets.
  • Deep understanding of the mobile flagship segment, including consumer behavior, distribution channels, and market trends.
  • Understanding of product development, supply chain, and sales channel operations.
  • Strategic thinker with adaptability to market changes.
  • Strong business acumen and risk mitigation capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Resilience in challenging situations.
  • Willingness to work fully on-site at Mc Kinley Hill, Taguig.
