About the Role

The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team is dedicated to financial reporting and enabling budget execution and optimization to deliver growth and efficiencies across the company. This role serves as a key Business Partner to the Go-To-Market (GTM) organisation across ANZ.

The Manager will advise on decision-making and leverage proactive analytics to accelerate the growth of our ANZ GTM organisation. They will partner with Sales Leadership, Corporate Finance, and Global Sales Strategy to provide finance-based decision support for new resourcing and investments, cost optimisation analysis, and development of key metrics. A curiosity for AI and emerging technologies — and how they can be applied to finance and business — will be highly valued in this role. They will also play a critical role in supporting GTM's annual and long-range strategic plan.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams to bring awareness of business results and drive business growth

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, helping inform and guide decision-making through insightful financial analyses

  • Lead annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes for the ANZ GTM organisation

  • Manage headcount and operating expenses, identifying areas of opportunity for better returns and highlighting areas of risk

  • Develop and track metrics, KPIs, and leading and lagging indicators of operational success tied to top-line performance

  • Provide executives with clear insights into drivers of business growth and economics, as well as helping to define key business success metrics

  • Deep dive on business investments to understand productivity, cost to book/serve, and ROI-based frameworks to support investment decision making

  • Build and maintain long-term financial models to understand new investment viability and support long-term prioritisation by role, segment, and geo

  • Lead financial modelling and analysis to inform trends and future planning assumptions, leveraging AI tools to enhance analytical depth and efficiency

  • Build executive-ready presentations including Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, and ad hoc analysis using analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau)

  • Provide ANZ and US HQ with updates on financial performance and ensure stakeholders have an understanding of current and forecasted expectations

  • Engage cross-functional, geo, and operations finance teams to drive global projects, analyses, tools, and investment frameworks

  • Identify opportunities to build and streamline processes, policies, and tools — including AI-powered solutions — to enable efficiency and scale

  • Build positive relationships with key partners across the business

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

  • Strong financial modelling experience

  • Problem-solving and analytical skills, great business judgment, and excellent communication skills

  • Experience with SQL and/or other programming or scripting languages such as R or Python

  • Ability to partner with key stakeholders to drive strategy and business direction

  • Working knowledge and understanding of sales cycles, quota setting, territory planning, and sales compensation

  • Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, with an eagerness to explore how they can be applied to finance and decision-making

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales Finance, Operations, or Strategy experience in a high-growth environment; Enterprise SaaS experience preferred

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to drive productivity and analytical insights

  • Ability to influence and provide recommendations to C-level executives

  • Strong communicator with demonstrated ability to present to senior leadership

  • Experience with visualisation tools such as Tableau or PowerBI

  • Track record in process re-engineering and optimisation, including automation and AI-enabled workflows

  • Experience with Hyperion, Business Objects, or other BI tools

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
