About the Role
The Finance & Strategy (F&S) team is dedicated to financial reporting and enabling budget execution and optimization to deliver growth and efficiencies across the company. This role serves as a key Business Partner to the Go-To-Market (GTM) organisation across ANZ.
The Manager will advise on decision-making and leverage proactive analytics to accelerate the growth of our ANZ GTM organisation. They will partner with Sales Leadership, Corporate Finance, and Global Sales Strategy to provide finance-based decision support for new resourcing and investments, cost optimisation analysis, and development of key metrics. A curiosity for AI and emerging technologies — and how they can be applied to finance and business — will be highly valued in this role. They will also play a critical role in supporting GTM's annual and long-range strategic plan.
Responsibilities

Partner with Sales Leadership and cross-functional teams to bring awareness of business results and drive business growth

Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, helping inform and guide decision-making through insightful financial analyses

Lead annual planning and quarterly forecasting processes for the ANZ GTM organisation

Manage headcount and operating expenses, identifying areas of opportunity for better returns and highlighting areas of risk
-
Develop and track metrics, KPIs, and leading and lagging indicators of operational success tied to top-line performance
-
Provide executives with clear insights into drivers of business growth and economics, as well as helping to define key business success metrics

Deep dive on business investments to understand productivity, cost to book/serve, and ROI-based frameworks to support investment decision making

Build and maintain long-term financial models to understand new investment viability and support long-term prioritisation by role, segment, and geo
-
Lead financial modelling and analysis to inform trends and future planning assumptions, leveraging AI tools to enhance analytical depth and efficiency

Build executive-ready presentations including Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, and ad hoc analysis using analytics platforms (e.g. Tableau)

Provide ANZ and US HQ with updates on financial performance and ensure stakeholders have an understanding of current and forecasted expectations

Engage cross-functional, geo, and operations finance teams to drive global projects, analyses, tools, and investment frameworks

Identify opportunities to build and streamline processes, policies, and tools — including AI-powered solutions — to enable efficiency and scale

Build positive relationships with key partners across the business
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field

Strong financial modelling experience
-
Problem-solving and analytical skills, great business judgment, and excellent communication skills
-
Experience with SQL and/or other programming or scripting languages such as R or Python
-
Ability to partner with key stakeholders to drive strategy and business direction
-
Working knowledge and understanding of sales cycles, quota setting, territory planning, and sales compensation
-
Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, with an eagerness to explore how they can be applied to finance and decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
-
Sales Finance, Operations, or Strategy experience in a high-growth environment; Enterprise SaaS experience preferred
-
Hands-on experience using AI tools to drive productivity and analytical insights
-
Ability to influence and provide recommendations to C-level executives
-
Strong communicator with demonstrated ability to present to senior leadership
-
Experience with visualisation tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
-
Track record in process re-engineering and optimisation, including automation and AI-enabled workflows
-
Experience with Hyperion, Business Objects, or other BI tools
-
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
