The Team:
S&P Global Data Delivery is based on a robust, state-of-the-art Software as a Service platform powering the delivery of market data & information to clients. Meeting the most stringent performance standards in throughput, speed, and reliability, the platform supports multiple high-availability applications for professionals in financial and corporate institutions around the globe.
The Data Delivery Operations group in S&P Global focuses on providing clients with world-class service and operational excellence. The initiative focuses on leveraging S&P Global’s highly regarded expertise in financial markets to develop innovative solutions to service client needs.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Design and implement customized file configurations tailored to client needs.
- Provide expert technical troubleshooting and problem-solving for API integrations.
- Deliver technical consultancy to facilitate smooth API integration processes, and data sharing into warehouse solutions, including Snowflake, GCP Big Query and Databricks.
- Lead client migration projects from legacy systems to our Data Delivery platform.
- Champion process optimization and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Manage monthly KPI reporting, generating insights from operational metrics to drive performance improvements.
- Identify and specify application issues, collaborating with Product & Development teams for improvements.
- Engage proactively with senior clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Facilitate the Agile process for prioritization, coordination, and planning within the team.
What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant IT-focused experience
- Proven experience in API integration and programming skills in Python, Java, JSON, SQL, and XML.
- Knowledge of data warehouse solutions, including Snowflake, GCP Big Query and Databricks
- Strong problem-solving skills with a technical troubleshooting background.
- Excellent communication skills for effective client and stakeholder engagement
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with operational tooling and automation techniques.
- Proficient understanding of software systems and enterprise application development.
- Experience in AzureDevOps, Splunk, Salesforce, MS Excel, and Power BI.
- Ability to generate insights from operational metrics and drive performance improvements.
