Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Apprentice to join the SPDJI Commercial Finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting ETF Flows analysis and competitive tagging, assisting in monthly close activities and analytics, and report validation as part of an enterprise-wide project, as well as ad-hoc requests. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who is eager to take on challenges and contribute to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn SPDJI Index Business and ETF market
• Assist in tagging newly launched ETFs to competitive categories to enhance internal market research and strategy development
• Assist in monthly close activities, including support performing basic financial reconciliations under the guidance of the Financial Analysts
• Assist the Team with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from various stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Learn to use and support the development and implementation of financial tools and dashboards.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance financial operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Basic understanding of accounting and financial reporting
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Open-minded and willing to take on challenges and learn new skills.
• Strong accountability, Team oriented, and exhibit strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data cleaning, mining, and analytics work
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with or exposure to Salesforce, Alteryx, Tableau, or Anaplan
