The Role: Associate, Strategy & Business Management

The Team: You will be part of the Strategy and Business Management for SPG Energy. This team’s remit includes setting divisional strategic direction and shaping the division’s performance story, driving the Energy portfolio through M&A activities, leading the Integration Management Office, and governing investment decisions through the Investment Review Boards.

Responsibilities & Impact: The Associate, Strategy & Business Management will primarily be responsible for tracking key business metrics, streamlining reporting, planning and delivering strategic presentations, conducting research and analysis, and managing other ad hoc requests for the Strategy & Business Management team.

This will include:

• Developing a strong understanding of Energy’s strategic objectives and operations.
• Planning, preparing, and organizing content for internal communications and quarterly business presentations.
• Leading data collection, analysis, and reporting function to support monthly and quarterly reporting processes.
• Supporting M&A activities.
• Supporting strategic projects and ad-hoc business initiatives.

What We’re Looking For: An ambitious, self-starter who can deliver high-quality results in a time-sensitive environment. This individual should be a strategic and innovative thinker with exceptional analytical and communication skills that can support and interpret complex tasks and concepts.

Basic Qualifications:

• Undergraduate Degree required (concentration in Business or MBA a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience is required.
• Highly proficient skills in MS PowerPoint and Excel (Required).
• Proficient in prompt engineering and leverage AI tools for research and content.
• Proficiency in additional BI tools is a plus; Tableau, PowerBI.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Stakeholder and Project Management.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Self-starter capable of working independently and as a fully contributing member of a team.
• Build trusting relationships with senior leaders across the company.
• Basic understanding of energy and commodity markets
• Proven ability to navigate effectively and efficiently within a large matrixed organization.
• Very high standards of quality, accuracy, timeliness and extreme organization skills is a requirement.

The Schedule: APAC Hours 4:30 PM IST to 1:30 AM IST
