Channel your drive to make a difference into shaping an organization and an industry that’s evolving fast to the future. **What You Will Do *** - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design data pipelines to ingest, process, and transform data from various sources. - Develop, optimize, and maintain ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes to ensure efficient data extraction and loading. - Implement data quality checks and monitoring mechanisms to ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency. - Develop ETL pipelines in cloud environment for general business consumption, establishing patterns for repeatable, scalable ETL/ELT work that others can leverage in their work. - Implement data governance and master data management principles across specific project execution. - Collaborate with global business teams to understand the problems and design scalable solutions. - Identify and understand the necessary data sources for projects and efficient ways to clean and transform it. - Work with Global Technology to ensure that solutions are up to current standards and best practices. - Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and build new skills in data engineering, technologies and platforms. - Familiar with Unity catalog and CICD pipeline. **Qualifications You Must Have *** - B.E in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics with 9+ years prior relevant engineering experience OR Advanced Degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics with and 7+ years prior relevant engineering experience. - 5+ years of experience working as a Data Engineer, with a strong track record of designing and implementing data solutions. - Hands-on experience with data warehousing technologies and ETL tools (e.g. Fivetran, SSIS, AWS Glue, Qlik Replicate). - **Hands on experience with Python, Pyspark and databricks** - Strong understanding on GitHub - Strong understanding of Agile methodology - Strong database knowledge, including SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra). - Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English. - Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated experience in fostering collaboration and driving alignment across multi-disciplinary teams. - Self-starter with high level of intellectual curiosity. - Strong analytical and hardworking problem-solving mindset **Qualifications We Prefer** - Experience in Aerospace & Defense Processes from Design to Manufacturing to After Sales & Support - Broad understanding of gas turbine engine fundamentals and associated components. - Knowledge and experience in Data Governance, Architecture and Platforms - Strong learner who is comfortable learning new libraries and frameworks - Experience working in an agile environment.
