Responsibilities
- The Manufacturing Manager
- AWW Off Shift reports directly to the AWW Operations Manager.
The Manufacturing Manager:
- AWW Off Shift provides leadership and guidance to the hourly team. This role will:
- Oversee all business unit's MOD's, and NBRO, ensuring communicated plans are followed
- Ensure shift requirements, pitch, and MSW are being met
- Work with MTS and support areas that are staffed on this shift
- Ensure hourly teams are working the plans set by BU's, MOD's, and NBRO; provide direction to the hourly team when needed
- Drive a World-class safety culture
- Respond to all EH&S requirements promptly
- Support CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence), Lean and other continuous improvement techniques to develop and implement process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing quality, throughput and delivery integrity
- Provide leadership and guidance to a multi-skilled team engaged in the distribution of material to and from manufacturing cells and module assembly
- Execute business decisions fairly; provide two-way communications, consistent application of policy/work rules, clear, consistent communication of organizational goals and objectives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 8 years experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, or related work environment OR a Master's degree and minimum 5 years experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, or related work environment OR in absence of a degree, 12 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, or related work environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Understanding of continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma and LEAN concepts
- Working knowledge of shop practices, processes and procedures
- Demonstrated flexibility / adaptability in high stress, ambiguous environments
- Demonstrated ability to plan and prioritize
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing management experience and/or demonstrated skill and success in team leadership, facilitation and coaching skills
- SAP proficiency
Work Environment
This role is Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $107,500 USD - $204,500 USD
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Incentive Compensation:
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
