Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SE&TC) integrates, verifies, and validates our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish this, we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work together with our customers.

You will be contributing directly to the requirements development and decomposition of complex subsystems as well as developing the verification approach. Additionally, you will collaborate with other Engineering disciplines to help define requirements, interfaces, subsystem behavior, and subsystems integration into the overall system. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining SE Artifacts. This role will see a wide spectrum of the development lifecycle from requirement development, qualification/verification, and fleet deployment support.

This position is onsite in Tucson, AZ. No remote work available.

What You Will Do

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of integration, build processes, and testing activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure seamless integration of components, manage build configurations, and troubleshoot issues to maintain system integrity
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with technical requirements
  • Deliver high-quality solutions on schedule

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant prior experience
  • Experience with systems integration at multiple levels of a build
  • Integration, build and test processes experience
  • Experience leading a team
  • Active and transferrable US Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong experience with process improvement
  • Experience working autonomously with minimal oversight
  • Experience executing program gate activities (PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.)
  • Experience with 1553 Reprogramming
  • Flight test experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Integration troubleshooting experience

Salary and Compensation

Salary Range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
