The F135 Program Digital Solutions team is thrilled to offer an opportunity for an Associate Director F135 PDS Digital Enablement Manager. In this role, you will lead and supervise the F135 PDS Digital Enablement's Team who develop foundational digital capabilities for the F135 Program. In addition to providing strategic and tactical direction and decomposing what the team needs to work on, you will also play a key role in creating a positive team culture, in guiding the team members to excel in the Agile Operating model, and in supporting the career growth of practitioners across our teams and in line with Pratt & Whitney values, CORE Operating System, and the Leadership Operating Model.
What You Will Do
- Set strategic and tactical direction and priority for the F135 PDS solutions Digital Enablement's Team ensuring alignment with PW & RTX's Enterprise Architecture and ensuring foundational digital capabilities align with F135 Program business goals
- Serve also as the team's Power Platform architect, focusing on how Power Platform solutions can bring automation and productivity into our F135 business processes, designing scalable Power Platform solutions, establishing governance, and mentoring development teams
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement new foundational digital capabilities in support of strategic program objectives
- Collaborate with Product Owners and the Product Manager of the agile teams, and the Stakeholders of those teams, to inform prioritization and strategic roadmap for new foundational digital capabilities for the Program
- Program Manage / Project Manage any F135 PDS digital work that is outside of the Agile Teams
- Partner with other Platform and Enablement teams across PW who are building foundational digital capabilities so that F135 digital requirements are well understood and supported by what they develop
Qualifications You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
- A minimum of 12 years of computer science, software engineering, or program management experience; or an Advanced Degree with 10 years of experience with the same experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience with software engineering, DevOps, or generating digital solutions
- At least 3 years of prior experience leading or working in agile teams
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
Qualifications We Prefer
- Proficiency using Jira and Confluence as effective project management tools
- Previous experience guiding teams to generate outcome-oriented objectives then decompose them into the pieces of work that must be delivered to produce value
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills to document and communicate software engineering approaches, and a proven ability to influence others to accept practices and approaches
- Qualified as an RTX CORE Champion or higher
Work Environment
This role is Onsite. Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. For onsite roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility. As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.
Compensation
Salary Range: $157,200 USD - $298,800 USD
The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
