The Operations team continues to grow and aims to strengthen the connection of Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain and Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) across Collins Aerospace. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day manufacturing operations and workforce activities
  • Lead production team using Lean principles (5S, Kaizen, Standard Work)
  • Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards
  • Monitor defect rates and implement corrective actions
  • Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture
  • Train, coach, and evaluate production employees
  • Monitor KPIs including delivery, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency and prepare shift reports
  • Facilitate daily production meetings and problem-solving sessions
  • Resolve operational issues and escalate as needed
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Promote a culture of accountability and quality ownership
  • Adhere to and participate in all EH&S practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred (Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field)
  • 3–5 years of manufacturing experience preferably with supervisory/leadership responsibility
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and safety standards
  • Must not have had any disciplinary case within the past year
  • Must not be under Performance Improvement Plan
  • With at least a year in his/her current position
