Raytheon is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to work in a collaborative, iterative development environment. Raytheon develops world-class satellite ground systems and counters national security threats through cyber solutions. In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products and your knowledge with regards developing plans and procedures, debugging and evaluating system functions and interfaces, developing test environments, and working hand-in-hand with our integration teams and customers will be put to good use.

What You Will Do

  • Collaborate within an Agile product team to deliver tangible, value-added work products that meet program objectives
  • Maintain a systems-level perspective, ensuring operational end goals are kept in focus throughout the program's execution
  • Conduct integration and regression activities as a member of an Agile Product Team, culminating in customer demonstrations at the end of each sprint
  • Identify technical issues during software and hardware integration; collaborate with fellow engineers to drive solutions to closure
  • Troubleshoot and debug technical issues
  • Work within a closed area lab in Aurora, Colorado

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience
  • Experience with systems integration and test for software products in an Agile, CI/CD environment, including regression testing, test scripting, and/or test automation tools
  • Experience troubleshooting and debugging software-based systems or products
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued DOD TS/SCI clearance required prior to the start date
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Satellite Ground System development or operations environment
  • Experience with ground station and satellite domains (e.g., terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, on-orbit operations)
  • Experience with customers and external partners, fostering collaboration and alignment
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and digital engineering/test methodologies
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • Experience in Test Automation tools such as Cucumber, Beehave, Gherkin, and Zephyr
  • Experience in Java, C++, Matlab, Rust, Python, and familiarity with Linux operating systems and cloud environments (AWS certification is a plus)

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Compensation

Salary Range: $86,800 USD - $165,200 USD

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

  • This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
