Raytheon’s Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC) seeks an experienced Mechanical Assembler to support products in Mc Kinney, TX on 2nd shift. This individual must be self-motivated and will work with a cross functional team including engineering, factory management, program management, and other assemblers/testers.

What You Will Do

• Bond with resins and adhesives using shop processes for bonding and curing

• Assemble components using torque tools and other manual tools following assembly instructions and drawings

• Work with various materials such as compaction bags, air tools, and calibrated equipment.

2nd Shift Scheduled Hours: Monday – Friday 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM onsite.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires High School Diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/ technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or factory operations

• Experience in assembly/manufacturing

• U.S. Citizen

• The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

• Work experience using hand tools

• Bonding and curing experience

• Experience using hand/calibrated tools

• Experience reading drawings

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Demonstrated motivation for continuous improvement.

• Basic computer skills

• Perform repetitive tasks in accordance with an established, demonstrated process.
