About the Role
Collins Aerospace is looking to host a transitioning veteran as a highly motivated SIGINT Sensor Resource Manager (SRM) to join our team in supporting the US Air Force's Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) at Beale AFB, CA. This critical role involves managing our SIGINT enterprise system and requires a strong technical background and a dedication to providing exceptional support to our customer.
This is a full-time, on-site position at Beale AFB, CA, operating on a rotating shift schedule.

Skill Bridge Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a Skill Bridge Fellowship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Must be eligible to participate in Fellowship per DoD Instruction 1322.29
- Must be projected to receive an honorable discharge from the military
- Must have all TAP and transition requirements completed prior to the start date
- Must receive approval from Unit Commander or O4+ in the chain of command
- Must be located within a commutable distance or willing/approved to relocate to the job location
Responsibilities
As the Sensor Resource Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of our DCGS ST (SIGINT) system. This includes:
- Managing and maintaining the sensor software supporting the DCGS ST systems
- Performing high-level systems administration of specialized ST software
- Operating DCGS software controlling multiple sensors, sites, and systems within the AF DCGS architecture
- Providing technical engineering expertise and support to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and stakeholders through incident ticketing systems
- Conducting in-depth analysis, diagnostics, and fault isolation for the DCGS software and systems
- Support SIGINT post-upgrade efforts, in accordance with (IAW) technical data, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and operating instructions (OIs)
- Performing pre-mission configuration tasks, including system checks, reboots, ground ring establishment, etc.
- Providing real-time DCGS support to the customer, operators, and end-users
- Collect DCGS data for mission debriefs across all supported communities
Required Qualifications
Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience within a complex technical environment such as DCGS, preferably supporting SIGINT or similar systems
- This can be focused, or a combination of systems administration, software management, network management, or data analytics
- Desired military experience and qualifications in the Air Force AFSC 1DX, 1NX, or 1BX career fields, as comparable to other military branches
Education
- Ideal candidate will have a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or completed 2 years accredited coursework towards such degree
Technical Skills
- Security+ or higher DoD 8570 level II certification
- Linux, Docker, Puppet and a technical proficiency with software management, system administration, and troubleshooting are desired
Communication Skills
- Written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with the customer, OEM, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to clearly articulate technical issues and solutions
Problem-Solving Skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze technical problems, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions
Teamwork
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a distributed team environment
Security Clearance
- Top Secret/SCI required to start, with ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly
Shift Work
- Willingness and ability to work a rotating shift schedule to support 24/7 operations
Location
- Must be able to work on-site 100% of the time at Beale AFB, CA
