What You Will Do

• Conduct chemical analysis on powder and solid materials to ensure material meets customer requirements
• Prepare samples and perform analysis on a wide variety of materials where methods and techniques have been established
• Perform instrument set up and calibration
• Organize, report and maintain records of analysis
• Enter test results into various databases
• Perform continuous improvement initiatives
• Adhere to CORE guidelines and perform CORE duties as required
• Adhere to all EH & S guidelines, including wearing of required personal protective equipment
• Demonstrate ability to escalate questions/concerns for issues that are not routine or clearly defined
• Demonstrate ability to execute to work instructions on completion of routine tasks

Physical Requirements

The position requires:

• Ascending and descending stairs
• Standing for extended periods
• Bending, squatting, twisting
• Overhead reach
• Lifting up to 25 pounds

Qualifications You Must Have

• High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• Strong attendance record
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work hours outside of the regular shift
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to wear a respirator

Compensation

The pay range is $22.00 per hour; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Work Environment

This role is Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
