On the Next Generation RF Sensors team in Mc Kinney, Texas, your work directly enables software-defined sensor systems with a focus of deploying mission-critical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software-defined capabilities supporting next-generation RF sensor systems in a fast-paced Agile environment
• Develop C++ software running in Linux (Red Hat 8+) environments, supporting both new application development and enhancement of existing capabilities
• Build, integrate, and deploy containerized applications using Docker and/or Kubernetes, delivering software solutions to multiple customer environments
• Create and maintain Dev Sec Ops CI/CD pipelines, supporting rapid iteration, deployment, and evolving mission requirements
• Participate in the development of leading-edge technologies where requirements evolve quickly
• Work onsite in Mc Kinney, TX

Required Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
• Software development experience with C++
• Experience with containerized applications such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Red Hat Linux or equivalent OS

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with embedded or low-level software development, including OS-adjacent or hardware-interfacing work
• Experience with CI/CD tools and infrastructure such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, or similar
• Experience developing and integrating OMS-based architecture
• Familiarity with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration, and Test-Driven Development Methodologies
• Experience developing embedded software for sensors, algorithm development, signal or data processing preferred

Work Arrangement

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $68,900 USD - $131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Additional Information

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
