What You Will Do
- Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies
- Management coordination and implementation of Environmental Health Safety and Sustainment
- Property & Metrology Management including maintenance of equipment service contracts and ongoing equipment repairs
- Perform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgets
- Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Oversee audit/assessment preparation
- Oversee Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program; develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long-range objectives, including engineering customer goals
- Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation, utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations
- Develop and implement communication plans, providing consulting support to functional and engineering customer management
- Work to influence stakeholders within and outside responsible area at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures
- Work autonomously with limited oversight; provide professional input, guidance, and problem solving
- Some physical exertion while standing, sitting, or walking, working outside
Qualifications
You Must Have:
- A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, OR
- An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
- May have practical knowledge of project management
- Ability to obtain a security clearance or currently obtain one
