Job Description:

Production Line Leader:

India Kancheepuram

You will assemble products using the best manufacturing practices, job design, and assembly

techniques that will allow us to satisfy our customers' needs in the most cost-efficient manner.

You will report to the Production & ROS Manager and work onsite in Kancheepuram, India

Your Responsibilities:

• To lead the team in improvement activities, focusing on quality, on-time delivery, efficiency and safety.
• To provide first-line personnel services to the team, with responsibility for discipline of team members.
• Understand appropriate documentation required for product assembly (i.e. Wiring diagram, prints, diagrams, order sheets, schematics).
• Positively contribute to the growth and overall development of their work area.
• Understand and established assembly procedures/help develop new procedures or improving existing procedures.
• Set up/build and assemble structures, units, doors, and all related components (other than 2B wiring/Frames) to finish the product.
• Assembly of non-plug-in units (transformers, breakers, bolted pressure switches)
• Wire harnessed transformers or other designated electrical components
• 5S and EHS maintenance.
• Conduct tasks following applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations (state regulations, ISO 9000, ISO 14000, etc) and Rockwell Automation policies and procedures.

The Essentials

You Will Have:

• Typically, 10+ years' working experience in an Electrical Equipment (electrical control panel / heavy electrical equipment) manufacturing field. Demonstrate knowledge of production principles, cross function understanding and leadership experience.
• Diploma / Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical
• Demonstrate knowledge of production principles, cross function understanding and leadership experience.
• Read and speak English & Tamil.
• Basic IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office, SAP.
• To perform this job, knowledge of Database software is required
• Familiar with SAP system operation skills
• Adapt to flexible shift arrangements
