Job Description:

Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory. Acquires and maintains technical understanding of products purchased. Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. Obtain materials, components, equipment and services. Develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate. Monitor the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure highest quality at best value. May recommend cost-saving proposals including make-versus-buy analysis, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria. You will have direct reporting to Procurement Team Leader. Team is located in Monterrey, Mexico.

Your Responsibilities:

Coordinate Request For Quotation and Purchase Order related activities in ERP/CRM system within given time frames with focus on service, cost and value.

Work with AMR Team, partners and vendors to ensure delivery and payment issues are resolved promptly

Manage vendors tactical performance following business Measurements.

Ensure procurement data consistency and process understanding of SLAs.

Support supplier selection, negotiations and business reviews.

Build productive internal/external working relationships.

Communicate with partners and provide necessary support and information.

Apply company procedures to resolve standard issues.

Provide suggestions for improvement.

Lead low and mid-complexity project assignment based on our priorities.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

Bachelor or Master's degree in Supply Chain related areas (ie. Logistics, Economics. )

Procurement or Supply Chain management experience will be an advantage

Minimum 1+ years of experience

Communicative English skills both written and verbal (B2 minimum)

Use standard tools (applications and cloud), especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint (functions, formatting)

SAP,DDS, CPro, and PowerBI knowledge will be an advantage

Well-developed sense of priority

Demonstratable data analysis skills

Work with teams in multicultural environment

Continuous Improvement oriented:

Work in environment with unexpected changes, easily adapting
