Job Description:
We are looking for a Technical Delivery SME to lead the delivery and technical evolution of our competency program across the AP region, including the Engineer in Training (EIT) Program, internships, and the Graduate Engineer Training (GET) Program.
The Technical Delivery SME is responsible for delivering technical training content for Early Career programs across AP (including EIT, interns, and GET programs where applicable). This role leads technical content delivery, supports curriculum refinement in coordination with global RAU and program teams, maintains lab equipment and hardware assets, and ensures technical readiness for all programs.
Outside of scheduled EIT cohort delivery windows, the SME will support the AP Competency team through technical facilitation, lab maintenance, and delivery of competency‑related training for existing employees.
This role blends technical expertise, instructional delivery, content development, and lab ownership, and requires strong collaboration across regions and functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Training Delivery
Deliver classroom and lab‑based technical curriculum for AP Early Career programs.

Support delivery of technical content even when not leading a session (e.g., assisting other instructors, facilitating labs).

Manage a dynamic and fast‑paced learning environment to ensure high‑quality learner outcomes.

Provide real‑time coaching and technical feedback to participants, escalating concerns when required.

Ensure development and delivery is in alignment with global best practices leading to consistent development of early career trainees and learner outcomes.

Identify learner technical gaps and support trainees through structured coaching.

Manage performance concerns in partnership with the AP Early Career Program Manager.

Curriculum & Content Development
Act as technical curriculum SME for the region—refining, updating, and expanding program content as required.

Work with global RAU and global program teams to support curriculum alignment, incorporate updates, follow best practices, and ensure regional consistency.

Support and maintain documentation of standard processes, curriculum changes, and technical delivery guidelines.

Lab Ownership & Technical Infrastructure Management
Own the AP Early Career Program lab environment and associated hardware.

Ensure equipment readiness, availability, calibration, and compliance with safety expectations.

Troubleshoot technical issues, perform maintenance, and coordinate repairs or replacement as needed.

Maintain accurate inventories of hardware, software, licensing, and loaner equipment.

Support for AP Competency Team (Non‑EIT Periods)
Deliver or co‑deliver technical content for ongoing AP competency programs (existing engineering workforce).

Assist with onboarding modules, technical labs, or refreshers as allocated by Global Programs Delivery Manager in support of AP Competency Leadership requests.

Serve as a subject matter expert to help review competency curricula and provide technical feedback on program improvements.

Partner with the AP Competency team to maintain a labor share program with LCS engineers

Cross‑Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Early Career Program Managers, the AP Competency team, RAU, global technical SMEs, and engineering organizations.

Provide regional insights to improve global content design and lab standards.

Participate in global SME communities of practice and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
The Essentials

Bachelor’s Degree

Legal authorization to work in Singapore

Travel 10-30% of time, domestic or international

Ability to support long hours on critical times during the EIT Program Delivery, and support off hour calls with the Global Early Career team
The Preferred
You Might Also Have:

Experience in the early career space

Experience delivering technical training, technical onboarding, or field service engineering.

Strong knowledge of Rockwell Automation products, software, and industrial automation technologies.

Ability to present and communicate effectively with learners, peers, and leadership.

Experience maintaining or configuring industrial automation equipment or labs.

Experience collaborating with global content development or engineering teams.
