Job Description:

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer tp join in our team in Pague.

You will work on the FTDS - Factory Talk Design Studio project, a web-based integrated development environment designed for configuring industrial automation systems. Your primary responsibility is to develop automated tests for the front-end component of the IDE, using a TypeScript-based framework built on Test Cafe. As the sole test automation engineer on the team, you will be tasked with ensuring the functionality developed by your colleagues meets the required standards.

You will report to local Team Leader and work in hybrid work model.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop UI end-to-end automated tests using a TypeScript-based framework (Test Cafe)
• Perform manual test executions
• Design and create and execute test cases in q Test based on requirements
• Analyze failing tests

The Essentials

You Will Have:

• Minimum three years' experience as a Test Automation Engineer
• Proficiency with Playwright, Cypress, Test Cafe, or similar frameworks
• Knowledge of TypeScript (or at least JavaScript)
• Experience testing containerized applications
• Professional proficiency in English for documentation
• Czech language skills for team communication

The Preferred

You Might Also Have:

• Knowledge of q Test
• Familiarity with browser development consoles
• Experience with GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, Jira, Docker, and Rancher
