Job Summary:

The Integration Engineer will define enterprise common data object models and then design and develop data integration components using Mule Soft's platform as a service cloud environment to deliver data integrations that are reliable, scalable, and reusable. Use of an agile framework and DevOps methodologies will be leveraged to fulfill development activities. This role within Enterprise Integration team will provide the needed technical services for Rockwell Automation capability teams that need to deliver on Application Programming Integration (API) initiatives for the organization.

You will report to the Team lead.

Your Responsibilities:

• Specialize in merging data from different sources, ensuring consistency and making the data accessible for users and systems through common data model definition and layer.
• Designs, codes, tests, and documents new Mule Soft API platform components, including supporting applications and interfaces.
• Supports cross-functional development activity in conjunction with other integration technology resources.
• Develops and tests infrastructure components in Cloud and Edge-level environments.
• Proactively monitors industry trends and identifies opportunities to implement new technologies.
• Manages the DevOps pipeline deployment model.
• Enables automated testing procedures.
• Implements software in all environments.
• Leverages containerization models and works with other engineers and architects to keep the architecture current.
• Assists in the support and enhancement of applications.
• Writes high-quality code compliant with regulations.
• Collaborates with business systems data owners, product owners, and analysts to define requirements.

The Essentials

You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering, management information systems, or related field.
• Must have experience in defining enterprise common data models for integration reuse.
• Must have experience with architecture and domain driven design of API integration components.
• Must have experience with the Mule Soft API platform, Mule Soft certification.
• Must have experience with integration activity with Salesforce applications.
• Must have experience with Master Data Management (MDM) principles.
• Must have experience with definition and automation of test cases.
• Must have experience with build and deployment automation using CI/CD (Azure DevOps).
• Must have experience with other data movement technologies (EDI, ETL).
• Needs to be experienced in systems development lifecycle.
• Must have experience in Analytical concepts and implementations.
• Must have experience with Agile development methodologies and system/process documentation.
• Must have experience with server-side architectures and containerization.
• Must have experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with business concepts and data story telling.
• Organize work of other development team members.
• Willing to work with shift timings: 12:00 PM to 09:00 PM (IST).
