Job Description:

As an Intern, you will help develop our MES and Smart Manufacturing Platform, contributing to solutions that shape the future of digital manufacturing. You will work with a dedicated team at our MES Product Development Campus in Karlsruhe and report to the Senior Team Lead Software Engineering. This is a paid hybrid position based in Karlsruhe, Germany.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support the development of MES and cloud-based software solutions for the life sciences sector.
• Explore and prototype new technologies such as augmented/mixed reality, voice interfaces, generative AI, and modern cloud computing concepts.
• Collaborate with teams to design scalable, stable software.
• Contribute to research and development efforts by testing and validating new product ideas.
• Participate in team meetings and code reviews

The Essentials – You Will Have:

• Enrollment in a university or university of applied sciences (FH), studying computer science or a related field.
• Legal authorization to work in Germany. (We do not sponsor employment visas for this role.)

The Preferred – You Might Also Have:

• Any experience cloud technologies, AI, or AR/VR.
• Any experience with programming languages such as Java, C#
• Familiarity with software development tools and practices.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
