The Administration team at Roblox provides core administrative support and serves as strategic partners to our business leaders.
You Will:
- Provide Centralized Coverage: Act as the centralized company Floater to fill temporary gaps in the E/ABP community, taking on frequent coverage assignments that include Leaves of Absence, organizational changes, and executive onboarding.
- Manage Seamless Transitions: Own, guide, and manage the transition process for each assignment by utilizing and refining the company Floater playbook to ensure a smooth handover and operational continuity.
- Strategic Calendar Management: Manage complex calendars for multiple leaders by implementing strategic time allocation, ensuring executives are focused on high-leverage work that supports overarching company-wide goals.
- Lead Complex Projects: Independently jump in to collaboratively execute and lead temporary assignments with broad cross-functional impact, such as reviews, workshops, summits, complex team space planning, and off-sites.
- Act as a Strategic Proxy: Serve as a trusted representative and gatekeeper for your executives, proactively managing bandwidth constraints, navigating priority trade-offs, and advocating for long-term solutions over short-term fixes.
- Drive Systemic Improvements: Identify systemic operational gaps across your varied assignments and implement inventive, scalable solutions that challenge the status quo.
- Mentorship & Leadership: Lead internal E/ABP team initiatives and provide active mentorship to peers and junior team members, ensuring the evolution of best practices across the administrative organization.
- Logistical Execution: Independently execute routine logistical tasks like international and domestic travel arrangements, expense reports, and department-wide communications with high precision.
- Work a full-time, hybrid schedule at our San Mateo office.
You Have:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a high-growth support role, ideally within a technical or engineering organization.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex, ambiguous issues independently while maintaining executive-level professional composure.
- Experience standardizing complex operational workflows and a passion for experimenting with novel solutions to drive organizational velocity.
- An uncompromising focus on precision, ensuring that executive communications, calendar logic, and project plans are accurate.
- A proven track record acting as a project lead, with the ability to delegate effectively while keeping the quality of work high.
You Are:
- Organized and proficient in calendaring, communication, and document management tools (G-Suite, Slack, or similar) with 8+ years experience in a support role.
- Highly flexible, proactive, and resourceful, capable of adapting quickly to changing assignments and shifting priorities.
- An exceptional communicator with the ability to build cross-functional relationships and serve as a reliable, professional representative for your executives across various groups.
- Calm under pressure, discrete with confidential information, and capable of meeting tight deadlines without losing attention to detail.
- An innovation leader that promotes a culture of innovation, experimentation, and scalable thinking, challenging the status quo.
- Passionate about fostering an inclusive environment and maintaining high team morale across all of the teams you temporarily support.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual hourly rate could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Please note that not all benefits on this page are applicable to this hourly position.
Hourly Pay Range:
$76.96—$92.53 USD
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
