As a Senior QA Engineer for Interactivity, you will be the quality leader for the core systems that define how users interact with our 3D experiences. You will be responsible for defining the validation strategy, architecting automation, and ensuring system stability across all platforms, from mobile and console to VR and web. This role involves deep collaboration with engineering to influence product design and provides leadership to our global QA teams. You will report to the Senior Manager of Quality Assurance.

You will:

• Define, own, and sign off on the complete validation strategy for real-time interaction systems, input handling, and complex UI, setting key metrics and determining release readiness.

• Architect and implement high-level automation solutions for mission-critical end-to-end interaction flows, driving the evolution of the testing framework for scalability and reliability.

• Lead and direct cross-platform validation efforts (mobile, console, desktop, VR, Web, TV), independently resolving systemic defects.

• Consult with engineering on design implications and technical solutions, applying your insights to influence the development of interactivity features and shared automation tools (Arrow, Apollo, UTP).

• Lead offshore members, scaling test strategy, scripting practices, and automation quality across the organization while establishing the standards for all test documentation.

You have:

• 5+ years of specialized expertise in QA for game engines or real-time interaction systems.

• Advanced knowledge of real-time interaction systems, complex input handling, and strategic automation architecture.

• Experience with other scripting languages such as Lua (or Luau) and Python for sophisticated systems automation. Proficiency in C++ is a plus.

• Experience managing CI/CD test pipelines.

• A proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes in fast-paced engineering environments.

• Expertise in tools QA, simulation testing for creator platforms, or specialized knowledge of platform-specific input handling.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page.

Annual Salary Range**$156,890—$187,780 USD**
Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
