About the role
Every year, employers and employees spend over $5 trillion on benefits globally. From health insurance to saving for retirement, these benefits products guide families through some of the most important and impactful decisions in life.
Despite the significance of these products and the dollars spent, the experience is still painfully antiquated, expensive, and confusing.
Rippling is building the first modern marketplace that seamlessly connects brokers, employers, and employees with any benefit. Our platform powers discovery, purchase, and use of benefits products around the world. Our benefits vertical includes our Benefits Platform (recommendations, payments, and our benefits eligibility engine), our rapidly growing Benefits Marketplace of over 100 partners, and our natively-built Rippling Benefits Products.
The Benefits Marketplace Product Lead is responsible for the strategy and execution of expanding our benefits marketplace integrations. This includes any type of benefit an employer would offer globally - health insurance, life insurance, 401k and pensions, mental health, fertility, telemedicine, financial wellness - there are dozens of categories. You would own how we add new partners and products to our marketplace, monitor and improve the health of those integrations, and set the strategy for how we can make our benefit partners more successful on Rippling every year.
What you'll do
- Own our Benefits Marketplace integration integrity platform
- Build and scale a system that monitors and maintains the integrity of our integrations
- Build the ability to handle and make sense of highly varied signals to detect errors to support us confidently scaling the breadth of benefits vendors we support.
- Build customer and internal operations experiences that deliver highly relevant errors to proactively address problems and deliver industry leading reliability
- Leverage AI agents to automatically triage and resolve issues before customers even realize there has been a problem.
- Scale our current products to support tens of millions of employees
- Work cross-functionally with virtually every team – across product, engineering,design, marketing, and customer-facing functions – to develop a modern
marketplace for benefits products that can scale to billions in revenue
What You Will Need:
- 6+ years of Product Management experience
- Self-starter with a bias towards action
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong technical and data skills
- Helicopter pilot mentality - you can easily switch from high level strategy and planning to UI polish and data model details
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and comfortable working in a highly cross-functional role
- Experience building complex workflow and integration/marketplace products
- Founder or hypergrowth startup experience a strong plus
- Strong alignment with our leadership principles: in particular Go and See, and Are Right, a Lot.

The first thing we know about stands is that they are hereditary. In a weird magical way yes, but still hereditary. It is through Johnathan’s life n and know from Dio using Johnathan’s stand allows us to know what it looks like and it is a lot like hermit Purple. absolutely horrendous interview experience at Rippling
I recently went through on site loop for sde 2 position at rippling, i cleared the first round, after the second round of interview was done i waited for 3 days before following up when i was told that no feedback was submitted yet by the interviewer, i said fine, i'll wait, another week passed, still the same fking response, i don't know why they are hogging up my feedback like this, it is putting me in a bad position as other candidates have already moved forward and attempted the final round,
