About the role
Rippling's financial platform is the backbone of how millions of workers get paid, every week, across the globe. We move billions of dollars across dozens of currencies, payment rails, and banking relationships — and the infrastructure that makes that possible is one of the most consequential systems we build. We're looking for a Product Lead to own the expansion and reliability of that payments infrastructure. You will build and launch the payment rails, bank integrations, and money movement capabilities that determine where Rippling can operate, how fast funds move, and how seamlessly we can scale, and accurately we can track all of it. You’ll be building the foundation that Payroll, Corporate Cards, Travel, Banking, Billing and more use to send and receive payments.
What role do Product Managers play at Rippling? The product team owns Rippling’s product direction, defining what to build in order to solve customer problems in a way that allows them to succeed. We do this by intimately understanding the market, our customers, and the perspectives of our key stakeholders and synthesizing that into a product that is effective, efficient, and easy to use.
What you will do
- Expand the coverage, reliability, and speed of our financial infrastructure and global payment rails - ensuring Rippling can move money reliably across every market
- Launch new payment features and capabilities in every global market, including expansion of real-time payment systems around the world
- Lead banking integrations from end to end including integrations with new accounts, configuring payment capabilities and upgrading system reliability and redundancy
- Build and maintain internal tooling that gives ops, risk, and finance teams visibility and control over payment flows and expedited processes
- Drive the roadmap for Rippling’s ledger as the source of truth for all money movement, making sure every payment inflow and outflow is accurately captured, traceable, and auditable across all product areas
- Set the pace and quality of execution for multiple engineering teams, driving the success of the roadmap
- Manage stakeholder needs and requests across operations, finance, other product teams and more as the core infrastructure for all things money movement
What you will need
- 7+ years of product management or founding experience, with at least 3 years in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure
- Demonstrated ability to own complex platform initiatives across multiple teams
- General knowledge or understanding of payment rails
- Self-starter with a bias towards action and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Deep technical, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communication & organizational skills
- Strong ability to motivate and inspire people to do their best work
- Relentlessly focused on customers’ needs
- Strong alignment with Rippling's leadership principles, particularly 'Push the limits of possible', 'Challenge each other', and 'Go and see'
