At Rippling, data is at the heart of our business and the Marketing team leverages this data to provide the insights that have made Rippling one of the fastest growing companies in the world. We are looking for a Marketing Budget Sr. Analyst to join our Marketing team. In this role you’ll be a business partner to senior Marketing, Finance, Sales and Accounting leaders. This role will be focused on our rapidly growing Marketing team which will provide a high level of exposure to senior leadership as well as unique career growth opportunities.
You will be based in our San Francisco, CA or our New York, NY office and will be required to be in office 3x/week.
What you will do
- Act as a business partner for Marketing leadership - you will be a strategic thought partner and responsible for operational cadence of the business
- Partner with Accounting and Marketing to reconcile spend data, ensuring alignment across sources while allocating costs by channel and budget category, and investigating discrepancies to maintain accuracy
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting across Marketing and Finance, compiling budget performance across multiple business areas into leadership-ready insights while driving ad hoc analysis to identify opportunities and risks
- Frame business problems for the marketing organization and communicate insights while recommending and executing solutions to opportunities and problem areas
- Lead cross-functional strategic projects; including structuring business problems, exploring solutions, implementing/refining processes, and measuring impact
- Partner cross-functionally on key components of our annual marketing planning process including modeling and target setting
- Coordinate with revenue operations teammates on systems and process improvements for the sales organization
What you will need
- 3+ years of professional work experience in Marketing Finance, Accounting, Business Development, or Strategy
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving startup or a hyper growth environment
- Strong analytical, modeling, and conceptual problem-solving skills
- Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management
- Strong Microsoft Excel / Google G-Sheets skills, familiarity with BI Tools (Tableau, Snowflake)
- Experience with SQL is strongly preferred
- Basic knowledge of Salesforce

absolutely horrendous interview experience at Rippling
I recently went through on site loop for sde 2 position at rippling, i cleared the first round, after the second round of interview was done i waited for 3 days before following up when i was told that no feedback was submitted yet by the interviewer, i said fine, i'll wait, another week passed, still the same fking response, i don't know why they are hogging up my feedback like this, it is putting me in a bad position as other candidates have already moved forward and attempted the final round,
