About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-oriented leader to drive key initiatives across risk, operations, and product. This role will focus on identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce losses, and scale systems through a combination of data-driven insights, predictive modelling, and emerging technologies.

A core part of this role will include developing predictive models and leveraging AI—specifically designing and deploying agent-based systems—to automate workflows and enhance decision-making across the organization.

What you will do

• Own and drive high-impact initiatives across risk, underwriting, and operational workflows
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations to identify and execute on opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce losses
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, root causes, and actionable insights
• Develop, validate, and deploy predictive models to inform decision-making across risk and operational processes
• Design and implement scalable processes and systems to support business growth
• Build business cases and quantify ROI for new initiatives and investments
• Design, build, and deploy AI agents to automate workflows, support decision-making, and improve operational scalability
• Collaborate with engineering teams to productionize models, tools, and agent-based systems
• Monitor performance of models and deployed systems, continuously iterating to improve outcomes

What you will need

• 5–8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, strategy, or operations roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with large datasets
• Hands-on experience building and deploying predictive models (e.g., risk scoring, forecasting, classification problems) in production environments
• Experience working cross-functionally and driving initiatives from concept to execution
• Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in risk, underwriting, payments, or financial operations is a plus
• Experience building and deploying AI agents or agentic systems (e.g., leveraging LLMs, workflow orchestration, and external data integrations)
• Familiarity with modern data and AI tooling (Python, SQL, APIs, etc.)

Nice to Have:

• Experience in high-growth or startup environments
• Background in automation, process optimization, or systems design
• Experience measuring and improving operational KPIs
