About the role

Rippling is compound software, with data from across your business brought together into a single graph. Our Global Payroll system is like a central nervous system of Rippling: it senses and responds to changes on that graph that need to result in money movement—someone got promoted, submitted a timecard, added a new benefit, or upgraded their flight. Other companies are content to stitch together point solutions, but for Rippling, a competitive advantage is that all these things are connected, automated, and traceable.

This platform underpins much of Rippling’s revenue and is a core part of why customers choose Rippling. Their expectations are high: this system must comply with laws across 50 US states and several countries, and money must move flawlessly. It’s a tremendous challenge—and a privilege—to have your work matter.

We need a Senior Director of Product to lead this critical part of the business.

What you will need

  • A track record of leading teams of PMs in high growth environments, owning mission critical software, and delivering winning products.
  • Sufficient technical capability and curiosity to dig into details and appreciate complexity, and a strong enough product sense to be able to design solutions that abstract that complexity from the customer.
  • The ability and desire to work on intense projects with tight timelines, ambitious goals, and close collaboration with executives.
  • Strong alignment with Rippling's leadership principles.
