About the role
We’re looking for a self-driven, growth minded account manager with a proven track record of success to join our hybrid-remote US-based Account Management team. As a Rippling Spend, Account Manager, you are the CEO of your book of business. Your primary objective is to increase the value of Rippling’s Spend for your customers through growth, expansion and retention of the Rippling Spend SKUs (Expenses, Corp Cards, Bill Pay, and Travel). Rippling Spend is a unique product pillar as our revenue overwhelmingly relies on consumption. Account managers will own the relationship with the Financial Suite at their accounts and will partner with the HR/IT Account Managers. What you will do
- Proactively engage customers in your book via key lifecycle events: renewals, company growth, EBRs, increased credit/spending needs, etc.
- Consult with clients to understand their finance needs through a solutions-based selling approach
- Navigate a sales process by building relationships with multiple stakeholders through remote meetings
- Build and manage a pipeline of expansion and growth/consolidation opportunities to achieve monthly targets
- Develop and demonstrate a broad knowledge of current and new Rippling products via executing customer adoption playbooks and prospecting
- Partner with cross-functional product, support, and customer operations teams to ensure customer success and secure long term commitments
- Take an entrepreneurial approach to the role
What you will need
- 3+ years of SaaS experience in account management, sales, or quota-carrying customer success
- Experience in Fin Tech or background in Accounting/Finance preferred
- Track record of consistently meeting and exceeding quota via new product sales and upgrades
- Competitive and creative drive to win over customers and think outside the box to get a deal done
- Demonstrated ability to run a sales discovery and demo meeting and run a structured sales process
- Proven success building and maintaining long term commercial relationships
- Highly effective communicator with good people instincts – able to build trust and work well with a diverse group inside and outside the company
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented; great follow-through on projects/tasks big and small
- High integrity; enthusiastic about building a great company for the long term
- Courage to challenge the status quo when logic and reason require it. See something broken? Fix it.

The pay range for this role is:
Office: $170,000 OTE (60/40) per year
Remote: $150,000 OTE (60/40) per year

absolutely horrendous interview experience at Rippling
I recently went through on site loop for sde 2 position at rippling, i cleared the first round, after the second round of interview was done i waited for 3 days before following up when i was told that no feedback was submitted yet by the interviewer, i said fine, i'll wait, another week passed, still the same fking response, i don't know why they are hogging up my feedback like this, it is putting me in a bad position as other candidates have already moved forward and attempted the final round,
