Role Overview:

As a member of the Creative team at Ring Central, you will play a key role in shaping a world‑class web experience for the Ring Central brand. Reporting to the Web Design Lead, you’ll collaborate closely with designers, writers, developers, strategists, marketers, and leadership to champion the Ring Central brand with a strong focus on customer acquisition and optimized user experiences.

You will work on small to medium‑scale web and email design projects that require creative thinking, smart problem‑solving, and a strong sense of visual and UX quality. You’ll leverage our existing design system and component libraries, contribute to their evolution, and help maintain consistency across the entire web ecosystem. Your responsibilities span the full design process—from ideation and prototyping to preparing detailed specifications and assets for development.This role also involves using modern design tools and AI‑assisted workflows to improve efficiency, explore concepts faster, and support data‑driven decision‑making.

This role requires on-site presence at our office 4 days a week to support effective collaboration and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Web Experience & UX

• Partner with the web marketing team to optimize user journeys and deliver best‑in‑class UX solutions.

• Define and refine user flows; create interactive low‑fidelity wireframes and conceptual prototypes.

• Actively participate in A/B testing cycles: explore hypotheses, deliver high‑fidelity variations, and iterate based on performance data.

• Ideate and visualize motion within UX scenarios; collaborate with motion designers by providing storyboards and specifications for JSON‑based animations.

Visual Design & Brand:

• Create high‑fidelity design concepts and visual assets aligned with Ring Central’s brand language and design direction.

• Collaborate with copywriters and marketers to position Ring Central effectively and highlight product value.

• Contribute to brainstorming sessions and bring creativity, foresight, and strong design judgment to evolving web trends.

Design Systems & Tools

• Maintain and evolve Ring Central’s web design system and Figma libraries, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand updates.

• Continuously evaluate and improve components based on feedback, performance insights, and industry trends.

• Provide frameworks for accessibility and inclusion across design and development workflows.

• Update and develop developer specifications, guidelines, and documentation.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate implementation, optimize page performance, and maintain consistency across web properties.

• Use modern design tools and AI‑assisted workflows (e.g., for ideation, asset generation, content variations, or QA) to accelerate processes while maintaining high quality.

• Collaborate with design leadership to evolve processes, tools, and systems for greater efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications

Core Skills

• Proficient spoken and written English, with the ability to clearly present work and articulate design decisions.

• 7+ years of web design experience, including at least 2 years in an enterprise or multi‑product environment.

• Strong foundation in UX principles, patterns, and best practices.

• Excellent visual design skills and a deep understanding of modern UI trends.

• Expert knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

Technical & Tooling

• Understanding of UI motion principles; experience with Adobe After Effects or similar tools is a plus.

• Ability to quickly ideate and present concepts through interactive prototypes.

• Strong understanding of web development requirements, including basic HTML/CSS principles.

• Experience using modern design tools, plugins, and AI‑assisted workflows to enhance productivity, explore variations, and support data‑driven design decisions.
