We’re currently looking for:

Experienced software engineer with strong experience in building customer facing applications using cutting edge technologies. Ideal candidates have experience in both backend and frontend development.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, implementation and maintenance of complex applications for web and mobile applications including both frontend and backend.

• end-to-end ownership of applications from implementing user stories to deployments, bug fixes, dashboards etc.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers within and across teams to deliver high quality products and features.

• Champion the use of newer architectural patterns such as BFF (Backend for Frontend), MFA (Micro Frontend Architecture) to deliver modular and high performance applications.

• Possess the capability to comprehensively comprehend existing systems from start to finish, enabling maintenance and refactoring efforts aimed at the ongoing enhancement of our products.

• Propose new ideas and build consensus within the team to adopt best practices.

• Perform code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and help peers for a collaborative team environment.

To succeed in this role, you must have experience in:

• 10+ years of strong application development experience across multiple platforms i.e. web browsers, android, iOS etc.

• Successful track record of delivering multiple projects and leading architectural design and implementation of at least one complex application with a significant user base involving multiple platforms and teams.

• Strong computer science background in data structures, algorithms, networking, RESTful APIs etc.

• At least 5 years of experience as a Backend Java Developer using Spring framework

• Good coding skills in React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS.

• Experience working with at least one RDBMS such as Postgres, MySQL etc.

• Good understanding of end to end System Design involving backend systems

• Experience working with any cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, GCP is desirable and distributed services eg. messaging queues

• Experience working with integrating third-party software such as Salesforce, Hubspot is extremely desirable.

• Experience with test automation and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter etc is highly desirable.
