Our team is involved in the development of the Ring Central Could PBX service which let organize millions of the audio VoIP calls for participants in different world regions.

Team is working on the Host Media Processing service: core media backend service for Telephony. Service is responsible for forwarding media between call participants, audio mixing, audio quality, network congestion control, DSP functions.

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer with possible background in audio/video processing and networking backend services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop media backend service;

• Work on the performance optimization and troubleshoot the problems;

• Participate in the code review;

• Write the unit and integration tests.

Requirements:

• Experience in C++11/17 programming under Linux, including multi-threaded at least from 5 years;

• Experience with network programming;

• Skills for solving algorithmic problems;

• Willingness to write some code with JavaScript/TypeScript under Node.JS;

• Ability to read code in other C-like languages.

Will be an advantage:

• Experience in VoIP;

• Experience in WebRTC (SIP, SDP, RTP, RTCP);

• Experience in design of high load systems;

• Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript under Node.JS;
