About the role

Our Financial Crime team blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to make sure our products meet legal and policy requirements and deliver real value to customers. In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to prevent financial crime.

We’re looking for a Fin Crime Risk & Advisory Manager to assess fraud risk for new products and market expansions. You’ll be collaborating directly with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Operations teams to shape group-wide fraud detection strategies that support global growth.

What you'll be doing

• Acting as a group-level fraud advisor on product launches and new jurisdictions
• Supporting the design and optimisation of global fraud detection controls
• Analysing fraud data, loss trends, and customer outcomes to drive improvements
• Identifying and remediating fraud control gaps with clear action tracking
• Advising Product and Engineering teams on risk-based control decisions
• Conducting control testing and scenario-based assessments
• Delivering insights and reporting for senior governance
• Ensuring fraud controls remain effective and customer-centric

What you'll need

• 4+ years of hands-on fraud risk experience in 1LoD or product advisory
• Expertise in digital fraud typologies and attack vectors
• Familiarity with model and rule-based detection logic
• A solid analytical mindset with experience using fraud MI
• The ability to influence product and operational design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially around stating clear risk decisions

Nice to have

• Exposure to fraud in crypto or business banking
• Expertise in scam-related tactics and countermeasures
• Experience supporting high-risk market expansion
