About the role

On Revolut’s Market Making team, we work to obtain the best value we can in currency and securities trading. Our goal is to become the world’s leading market maker. To achieve this, we tackle the most challenging problems using cutting-edge quantitative research and advanced machine learning techniques to build automated trading systems.

We’re looking for a skilled Algo Trader to solve a range of tasks within the team, giving you breadth and depth of experience unmatched in almost any other role. You'll get the chance to have an impact on Revolut’s success, while receiving training to develop your analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.

What you’ll be doing

• Driving profitability via building, enhancing, and managing algorithmic trading systems
• Digging deep into financial data, performing statistical analysis, identifying additional revenue streams, and locating areas of future automation
• Collaborating with counterparties and technology teams to optimise trading infrastructure
• Dealing with production and operational issues
• Providing trading execution support to internal teams on a wide range of instruments

What you'll need

• At least a 2:1 STEM degree from a top university
• 3+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in trading
• Hands-on coding experience with SQL, Python, or R
• A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
• A magic skill to break complex problems into smaller ones
• To enjoy working with data
• Natural curiosity and a will to make an impact
• An interest in the financial industry

Compensation range

• Lithuania: €4,000 - €7,500 gross monthly
• Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and previous experience
