About the role

Our Technology team builds the systems and experiences that keep Revolut moving. From the infrastructure behind our innovative app to the features used by millions of people around the world, they bring sharp thinking, speed, and a focus on meaningful impact to everything they do.

We're looking for a Technology Manager to support our local team in Japan. You'll manage projects and collaborate across teams, ensuring the quality of technology services as required by local regulators.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting with and collaborating in larger change and technology transformation programmes
• Representing the Technology team in Japan, working with wider programme teams to take ownership of appropriate tasks and provide input as required
• Preparing reports and updating stakeholders
• Assisting with system incident analysis, reporting, and licensing efforts
• Assessing initiatives that require relevant IT changes
• Identifying dependencies, potential impact, and risks, ensuring that they've been satisfactorily analysed, tested, and managed
• Building and optimising scalable processes to continue Revolut's hyper-growth
• Maintaining and creating new dashboards to track metrics and visualise insights

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the retail banking industry in Japan
• Previous experience in an analytical role creating impactful solutions
• Experience partnering with an executive team, as well as the ability to work closely with others to deliver results
• A broad understanding of modern technology stack
• Great problem-solving and decision-making skills to analyse complex information and identify the key issue/action to drive resolutions
• Fluency in English and Japanese
