We’re looking for an Operations Manager to help shape how we continue to expand and operate across the globe. You’ll work on high-impact initiatives throughout the business, using insight to solve challenges, scale processes, and deliver better outcomes for our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Identifying and developing key banking products, features, operations, licences, and growth opportunities
• Collaborating with teams, such as Legal, Compliance, Technology, Risk, and Finance, as well as global stakeholders, to analyse and define Revolut Japan's banking strategy
• Creating business cases based on requirement definitions, and driving execution plans
• Managing project prioritisation and supporting license applications
• Defining the playbook and process execution for Revolut Japan to achieve hyper-growth
• Managing and developing relationships with critical vendors and strategic partnerships

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience working at a bank in Japan
• Knowledge of banking products and services in Japan
• Experience drafting internal regulations/circulars related to deposit or currency exchange operations
• Experience with the Zengin System and Bank of Japan (BOJ) transaction management
• The ability to break down complex problems into smaller components
• To enjoy working with data
• Inherent curiosity and an interest in making a significant impact
• Business-level communication skills in both English and Japanese

• 日本での銀行における商品・サービスの基本的な知識を有し、日本での銀行勤務経験が5年以上ある方
• 預金ないし為替業務に係る通達を作成した経験のある方
• 全銀ネット、日銀取引管理の経験のある方
• 複雑な問題を小さな問題に分解する能力と、データを使った業務を楽しむことができること
• 本質的に好奇心旺盛であり、大きな影響を与えることに興味を持っていること
• 英語と日本語でのビジネスレベルでのコミュニケーション能力

Nice to have

• Experience being seconded to the Japanese Bankers Association or the Regional Banks Association of Japan
• Expertise in data analysis using tools, such as SQL or Excel
• Experience engaging in corporate strategy and planning involving overseas offices
