About the role

Our Customer Support team is the public face of the company and provides first-class front-line support to our millions of customers. We're also internal customer champions, working with product teams to ensure customers stay at the forefront of everything Revolut does.

We’re looking for a Financial Crime Analyst to assist with KYC/ATO support. You'll identify suspicious activity and ensure we’re treating customers fairly by investigating internal SARs and complex cases. You'll apply analytical and decision-making skills to identify where grounds for suspicion of money laundering exist.

To support our 24/7 coverage, this role may include night and weekend shifts, which are fully compensated.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering a first-class customer experience by managing real-time interactions via in-app live chat, conducting thorough case investigations and guiding new users through the onboarding process using proper tone of voice while maintaining high customer sentiment and friction-free experience
• Conducting deep-dive reviews of identity and residency documents, ensuring authenticity and accurate data extraction in line with global standards
• Independently applying Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to determine account eligibility, ensuring every profile meets Revolut strict compliance and Quality Control benchmarks
• Acting as the first line of defense by proactively identifying suspicious patterns, potential fraud indicators, or tampered documentation to mitigate risk and maintain security of Revolut services
• Handling sensitive and confidential user information with the highest level of integrity, discretion and professional ethics, representing the Revolut brand online at all times
• Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve complex issues quickly, following established escalation paths to provide rapid, high-quality resolutions

What you'll need

• Fluency in English (B2+ level) and Spanish
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• 1+ years of experience in customer support
• Good investigation skills
• The ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and within tight time frames
• A willingness to work different shifts
• The ability to work together with multiple compliance teams in a dynamic, international environment
• Great numeracy and IT skills
• To be able to work on-site at the Mexico City office

Nice to have

• Experience in a high-volume, metrics-driven customer support role (e.g., meeting daily/weekly targets for response time and resolution)
• Direct experience or comprehensive training in basic anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) procedures (e.g., CDD, EDD, source of funds)
