About the role
Our Compliance team blends regulatory expertise with data-driven thinking to make sure our products meet legal and policy requirements and deliver real value to customers. In a fast-moving, digital environment, they stay one step ahead by finding smart, scalable ways to manage conduct risk.
We're looking for a Regulatory Compliance Manager to lead and implement regulatory frameworks. You'll ensure operations involving customer data and emerging AI technologies adhere to relevant laws, internal policies, and ethical standards.

What you'll be doing
- Advising the business on compliance requirements and related controls regarding manufacturer and principal responsibilities
- Reading large pieces of regulation and breaking down what needs to be done and how it applies to the business model
- Liaising with regulatory bodies on matters ranging from inspections to day-to-day queries
- Developing and implementing our compliance management system, particularly in relation to delivering compliant customer outcomes
- Managing the training programme, reviewing marketing communications, and analysing complaints
- Ensuring scheduled monitoring and reported findings are carried out and followed up on
- Continuously reviewing the Compliance Monitoring Plan for optimisation
- Working with global Regulatory Compliance Managers to ensure that local risk management frameworks and processes are aligned with global ones
- Delivering training and updates to the product teams and wider business on regulatory requirements and changes
- Building scalable and sustainable processes and documentation for the team
- Being a champion for conduct and compliance across the business
- Ensuring a positive control and risk environment to mitigate operational, legal, and technology risks
What you'll need
- Experience in a compliance role in/with investment firms, or 5+ years of financial services experience
- An in-depth understanding of the regulatory requirements applicable to an investment firm
- The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects at once, and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of how to conduct regulatory gap analysis, including policy creation and implementation
- Expertise in compliance risk management within a consultancy, compliance function, or a regulator
- Experience in DPO positions
- Familiarity with AI tools
- A willingness to constantly develop and improve your knowledge/skills
- Knowledge of how banks are supervised and a regulatory affairs team works
- The ability to work independently and with changing priorities
- The ability to build genuine, mutually respectful relationships with diverse teams and across stakeholders of varying seniority
Nice to have
- A professional certificate/diploma in compliance, and/or a willingness to take exams in the future
- A degree in business, finance, or law
