About the role

The Legal team turns complexity into clarity by partnering with teams across Revolut to provide sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected. From structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets, the Legal team ensures growth is secure, compliant, and built for the long term.

We’re looking for a Mid or Senior Legal Counsel who’ll advise Revolut on compliance and legal issues around our financial products.

What you'll be doing

• Advising the business on compliance and legal issues in structuring new and existing financial products
• Providing legal guidance on payments, banking, and data protection
• Drafting customer-facing legal documents for financial products
• Partnering with product and commercial teams to design and deliver solutions compliant with PSD II and banking regulations
• Supporting the structuring and expansion of Revolut’s products
• Managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications
• Engaging and collaborating with local regulators in Hungary and Lithuania
• Leading initiatives while also executing operational legal work
• Handling complex legal matters with short turnaround times

What you'll need

• 4+ years of PQE
• Excellent academic and law firm credentials
• Experience advising on financial regulation in Hungary
• Expertise in PSD II and banking regulations, with experience advising clients on their application
• Sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset
• Confidence in making decisions with ambiguity or incomplete information
• Proven stakeholder management skills
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
