About the Role:

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on our team, you will take part in developing our cutting edge application that has a real impact on millions of customers' lives. You will also work closely with the Product, Design and Quality teams to constantly improve our products and services based on a data-driven approach along with direct feedback from our customers. This role will report to our Director of Engineering and will be based in our Bangalore office.

You Will:

• Lead frontend development with a strong regional focus on all markets outside the Americas, ensuring you build local needs, constraints, and user behaviours into the product.
• Be one of the foundational frontend engineers for the team, setting technical direction and standards while helping hire, onboard, and grow additional frontend engineers.
• Create complex client flows and business logic, emphasising reusability and quality.
• Build performant and scalable client systems, keeping them up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.
• Be an engineering excellence leader (Reviewing code, conducting design reviews, mentoring other developers, etc.).
• Be responsible for all aspects of software development on the team with ownership over technologies, security, scalability, user-experience, quality, and reliability.

You Have:

• 8+ years of experience building and delivering production code.
• Exposure to mobile app building via Kotlin, Swift etc.
• Dealt with a large codebase or a super app with state management, performance optimisation, and compatibility.
• 5+ years of experience with React.js or React Native.
• Worked in a globally distributed team environment
• Experience building API standards such as GraphQL, REST, etc.
• Experience with release management.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience with JavaScript (ES6+, TypeScript).
• Experience with Jest / Enzyme / React Testing Library.
• Ability to implement product requests by researching the correct technologies and services and integrating them into the product.
• Enthusiastic about building consumer-facing products with great UX and UI.
