About the Role:
As the Principal Program Manager, Safety & Security, you will be the strategic and operational lead across 15+ locations in North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. You will also be responsible for executive protection, geopolitical risk monitoring, and incident response -- and build these programs end-to-end across our global footprint. This Mandaluyong-based role reports to the Director, Global Workplace Services (GWS) and work with external security consultants and partners across Enterprise Risk, Legal, HR, and Compliance.
You Will:

Build a global physical security program, establishing standards, protocols, and audit-ready documentation across all office locations.

Be the primary GWS contact for active security incidents, whether managed independently within GWS's scope or with Remitly's Operational Risk Manager during enterprise-wide responses.

Lead executive and employee protection, including security planning for executive travel, high-risk engagements, and public events.

Manage external security partnerships and maintain a geopolitical risk monitoring rhythm that keeps leadership informed before situations escalate.

Deliver security compliance and audit readiness for GWS's physical security obligations within ISO 27001, the Global Outsourcing Oversight program, and other regulatory frameworks.

Ensure controls, evidence, and reporting are always current and defensible.
You Have:
-
5+ years of experience in physical security program management, corporate security, or executive protection — in a global, multi-site environment
-
Experience managing external security vendors and consulting partners, including defining service level agreements, conducting performance reviews, and leading RFPs
-
Expertise building security programs from the ground up — including written standards, incident response guides, and compliance documentation

Experience supporting security-related audit or certification processes (ISO 27001, SOC 2, or equivalent)

Familiarity with geopolitical risk assessment and international threat monitoring globally.

Collaboration skills — you will work regularly with Legal, HR, Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and external partners
