Now is a unique moment in time where it’s early enough to leave your mark on the product, the process, and the culture, but far enough along that Terran R is tangible and picking up momentum. The most meaningful work of your career is waiting. Join us.

By crafting compelling stories and innovative campaigns, we energize and inspire stakeholders, fueling momentum that drives Relativity’s mission forward.

About the Role:

This role owns the editorial and content engine for Relativity Space, developing high-impact communications strategy and deliverables that serve both external audiences and employees across the company. As a member of the Communications & Brand team, you’ll partner closely with cross-functional leaders to translate complex technical, programmatic, and organizational updates into clear, compelling narratives, whether that’s a Terran R milestone announcement, an executive All Hands message, or a critical change communication. The ideal candidate is a highly adaptable communications generalist with strong editorial instincts, executive presence, and the ability to shift seamlessly between proactive storytelling and real-time, high-stakes communications.

As the Senior Communications Manager, you’ll:

  • Own and evolve Relativity’s editorial strategy, developing content that supports key business priorities across external channels and internal communications. This includes translating complex technical, product, and organizational updates into clear, engaging narratives for diverse audiences of engineers, operators, executives, investors, and external stakeholders.

  • Draft and manage executive communications, including All Hands content, leadership updates, organizational announcements, and sensitive or time-critical messaging.

  • Build and maintain a unified editorial calendar spanning internal channels (Slack, intranet, newsletters, video updates) and external platforms (website, social, speaking content), ensuring consistency across internal and external touchpoints.

  • Partner with subject matter experts across engineering, manufacturing, operations, HR, and leadership to surface stories that reflect Relativity’s innovation, progress, and culture and collaborate with designers and producers to translate written content into compelling visual, video, and multimedia assets.

  • Support change management and transformation initiatives through thoughtful, structured change management communication protocols and communications that build clarity, trust, and alignment.

  • Support real-time issues, crisis communications, and fast-moving developments with sound judgment and a risk-aware lens.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, business, or a related field.

  • 7+ years of experience across editorial, corporate communications, content strategy, or related roles.

  • Proven ability to work directly with senior leaders and executives, including drafting or ghostwriting executive communications.

  • Strong editorial judgment with the ability to simplify complex, technical information without losing accuracy or nuance.

  • Experience supporting organizational change, major initiatives, or moments of heightened sensitivity through clear and effective communications.

  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Natural collaborator with a proactive mindset and strong sense of ownership.

Nice to haves but not required:

  • Experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, technology, or other engineering-led industries.

  • Familiarity with internal communications platforms, intranets, or knowledge management systems.

  • Experience with multimedia storytelling including video, presentations, or interactive content.

  • Comfort using analytics to inform content performance and channel strategy.
